Shadows of Denial

I started my journey from the Path to Peace on Kalyan Yaman of Shah Latif from the Thar Desert of Sindh.Following on the footsteps of my master; I learned the reality of inner peace is longing for pain as pain is the utmost reality.
We are living in a world which is saturated with the denial; it is theologically controlled with powerful dogmatic views and dichotomy of standards.
Despite our enlightenment we are essentially very conservative, insecure, intolerant, illiterate, indifferent, ignorant and full of our fragile inflated egos, which creates this, dichotomy of believes and practices.
In this exhibition I have touched the taboo topic of human sexuality, the only instinct which is isolated and ignored. We reject it in our unconscious and subconscious mind to avoid anxiety, inner conflicts and distress, forgetting the fact, that it is one of the most dominating basic instincts of every human, like hunger and sleep.
Sex is the only instinct which is tabooed â€" it is dirty, it is sin and it is immoral. Our concept of sex excludes all affectionate emotions like intimacy, beauty, warmth, love, tenderness, belonging, and being wanted. Such emotions are transformed into something immoral, evil, sinful and unwanted, creating more and more anxiety and guilt in the unconscious mind.

This is why our metrosexual, closeted homophobic, incestual, necrophiliac society considers sex as a taboo and sin, but never the less who is not a sinner!
This exhibition would be considered little controversial as it’s a taboo, but art by it self is all about being controversial. The work is mostly figurative erotica with vivid anatomical details and play of colors on toned chiseled seductive human bodies.

There is some distortion in some of the work which remains uncontrolled despite my effortful efforts, which I think has become a signature of my work, as being a lucky disciple of Late Sadequain.

Hope this work would generate some fruitful discussion and a dialogue in our dead society on the subject, which is primary need of the day. I invite you all to come and visit the Shadows of Denial and face the utter reality of life and human existence with a different prospective.

英名: Red-headed Tit
Family : Aegithalidae (長尾山雀ç§'), Length: 10 cm
紅頭山雀全長約10cm，翼長約5cm。過眼線及臉為é»'色，ç"šç²—ä¸"長，延伸至後頸側。相較於山雀ç§'，尾較長。
頭頂紅棕色，背部為灰色，頭至後頸為紅棕色；背部大致為暗灰色，飛羽羽緣為灰é»'色，尾羽外側末端為白色；腰為淡紅褐色；腹面大致為白色，喉有墨色粗æ–'，胸有栗紅色橫帶，胸側及尾下覆羽為紅棕色。
亞成鳥：羽色大致似成鳥，但喉部無é»'æ–'，下頸部有é»'色橫帶，胸無栗紅色橫帶。
紅頭山雀，廣泛分布於台灣及華南一帶，è¿'似亞種分布於西藏、西康、雲南、喜馬拉雅、阿薩密、緬ç"¸å'Œè¶Šå—等地方。在台灣分布於中、低海æ‹"山區，亦曾見於海æ‹"3,000公尺處之闊è'‰æž—、針闊è'‰æ··åˆæž—，為普遍的留鳥。

紅頭山雀大抵棲息於樹林上層，常å€'懸於枝椏上，並與畫眉ç§'小型鳥類混群活動，捕食小昆蟲，或其幼蟲。牠å€'的頭上至後頸å'ˆè¤ç´…色，背部大致為暗灰色，é»'色過眼線又粗又長，並延ç"³åˆ°å¾Œé ¸å´ï¼Œåœ¨é è™•è§€å¯Ÿæ™‚很容æ˜"識別。
The Black-throated Tit is a small passerine, around 10.5 cm long and weighing 4-9 g. There is considerable racial variation in the plumage, but all subspecies have a medium length tail (as opposed to the long tail of the related Long-tailed Tit), a black throat and a black 'bandit mask' around the eye. The nominate race has a chestnut cap, breast band and flanks and dark grey back, wings and tail, and a white belly. The other subspecies have generally the same pattern (minus the chest band) but with grey caps or all grey bellies and flanks. Both sexes are alike. It ranges from the foothills of the Himalayas in Pakistan and northern India through large areas of southern China, northern Burma and Vietnam, and Taiwan. Disjunct populations also occur in southern Vietnam and the island of Hainan.

Jim Whittaker made the first American ascent of Everest and led the first successful American ascent of K2. Today, he spoke at the Art of the Start conference.
